1. °¡¹³¿¡ ´ëÇÏ¿© ¿¹·¹¹Ì¾ß¿¡°Ô ÀÓÇÑ ¿©È£¿ÍÀÇ ¸»¾¸À̶ó
This is the word of the LORD to Jeremiah concerning the drought :
2. À¯´Ù°¡ ½½ÆÛÇÏ¸ç ¼º¹®ÀÇ ¹«¸®°¡ ÇÇ°ïÇÏ¿© ¶¥ À§¿¡¼ ¾ÖÅëÇÏ´Ï ¿¹·ç»ì·½ÀÇ ºÎ¸£Â¢À½ÀÌ À§·Î ¿À¸£µµ´Ù
¡°Judah mourns, her cities languish; they wail for the land, and a cry goes up from Jerusalem.
3. ±ÍÀεéÀº Àڱ⠻çȯµéÀ» º¸³»¾î ¹°À» ¾òÀ¸·Á ÇÏ¿´À¸³ª ±×µéÀÌ ¿ì¹°¿¡ °¬¾îµµ ¹°À» ¾òÁö ¸øÇÏ¿©
ºó ±×¸©À¸·Î µ¹¾Æ¿À´Ï ºÎ²ô·´°í ±Ù½ÉÇÏ¿© ±×µéÀÇ ¸Ó¸®¸¦ °¡¸®¸ç
The nobles send their servants for water; they go to the cisterns but find no water. They return
with their jars unfilled; dismayed and despairing, they cover their heads.
4. ¶¥¿¡ ºñ°¡ ¾ø¾î Áö¸éÀÌ °¥¶óÁö´Ï ¹ç °¡´Â ÀÚ°¡ ºÎ²ô·¯¿ö¼ ±×ÀÇ ¸Ó¸®¸¦ °¡¸®´Âµµ´Ù
The ground is cracked because there is no rain in the land; the farmers are dismayed
and cover their heads.
5. µéÀÇ ¾Ï»ç½¿Àº »õ³¢¸¦ ³º¾Æµµ Ç®ÀÌ ¾øÀ¸¹Ç·Î ³»¹ö¸®¸ç
Even the doe in the field deserts her newborn fawn because there is no grass.
6. µé ³ª±ÍµéÀº ¹þÀº »ê À§¿¡ ¼¼ ½Â³ÉÀÌ °°ÀÌ Ç涱À̸ç Ç®ÀÌ ¾øÀ¸¹Ç·Î ´«ÀÌ Èå·ÁÁö´Âµµ´Ù
Wild donkeys stand on the barren heights and pant like jackals;
their eyesight fails for lack of pasture."
7. ¿©È£¿Í¿© ¿ì¸®ÀÇ Á˾ÇÀÌ ¿ì¸®¿¡°Ô ´ëÇÏ¿© Áõ¾ðÇÒÁö¶óµµ ÁÖ´Â ÁÖÀÇ À̸§À» À§ÇÏ¿© ÀÏÇϼҼ
¿ì¸®ÀÇ Å¸¶ôÇÔÀÌ ¸¹À¸´ÏÀÌ´Ù ¿ì¸®°¡ ÁÖ²² ¹üÁËÇÏ¿´³ªÀÌ´Ù
Although our sins testify against us, O LORD, do something for the sake of your name.
For our backsliding is great; we have sinned against you.
8. À̽º¶ó¿¤ÀÇ ¼Ò¸ÁÀ̽ÿÀ °í³ ´çÇÑ ¶§ÀÇ ±¸¿øÀڽÿ© ¾îÂîÇÏ¿© ÀÌ ¶¥¿¡¼ °Å·ùÇÏ´Â ÀÚ °°ÀÌ,
ÇÏ·í¹ãÀ» À¯¼÷ÇÏ´Â ³ª±×³× °°ÀÌ ÇϽóªÀ̱î
O Hope of Israel, its Savior in times of distress, why are you like a stranger in the land,
like a traveler who stays only a night?
9. ¾îÂîÇÏ¿© ³î¶õ ÀÚ °°À¸½Ã¸ç ±¸¿øÇÏÁö ¸øÇÏ´Â ¿ë»ç °°À¸½Ã´ÏÀÌ±î ¿©È£¿Í¿© ÁÖ´Â ±×·¡µµ ¿ì¸® °¡¿îµ¥
°è½Ã°í ¿ì¸®´Â ÁÖÀÇ À̸§À¸·Î ÀÏÄÃÀ½À» ¹Þ´Â ÀÚÀÌ¿À´Ï ¿ì¸®¸¦ ¹ö¸®Áö ¸¶¿É¼Ò¼
Why are you like a man taken by surprise, like a warrior powerless to save?
You are among us, O LORD, and we bear your name; do not forsake us!
10. ¿©È£¿Í²²¼ ÀÌ ¹é¼º¿¡ ´ëÇÏ¿© ÀÌ¿Í °°ÀÌ ¸»¾¸ÇÏ½ÃµÇ ±×µéÀÌ ¾î±×·¯Áø ±æÀ» »ç¶ûÇÏ¿© ±×µéÀÇ ¹ßÀ» ¸ØÃßÁö
¾Æ´ÏÇϹǷΠ¿©È£¿Í²²¼ ±×µéÀ» ¹ÞÁö ¾Æ´ÏÇÏ°í ÀÌÁ¦ ±×µéÀÇ Á˸¦ ±â¾ïÇÏ½Ã°í ±× Á˸¦ ¹úÇϽø®¶ó ÇϽðí
This is what the LORD says about this people : "They greatly love to wander; they do not restrain
their feet. So the LORD does not accept them; he will now remember their wickedness
and punish them for their sins."
11. ¿©È£¿Í²²¼ ¶Ç ³»°Ô À̸£½ÃµÇ ³Ê´Â ÀÌ ¹é¼ºÀ» À§ÇÏ¿© º¹À» ±¸ÇÏÁö ¸»¶ó
Then the LORD said to me, "Do not pray for the well-being of this people.
12. ±×µéÀÌ ±Ý½ÄÇÒÁö¶óµµ ³»°¡ ±× ºÎ¸£Â¢À½À» µèÁö ¾Æ´ÏÇÏ°Ú°í ¹øÁ¦¿Í ¼ÒÁ¦¸¦ µå¸±Áö¶óµµ
³»°¡ ±×°ÍÀ» ¹ÞÁö ¾Æ´ÏÇÒ »Ó ¾Æ´Ï¶ó Ä®°ú ±â±Ù°ú Àü¿°º´À¸·Î ³»°¡ ±×µéÀ» ¸êÇϸ®¶ó
Although they fast, I will not listen to their cry; though they offer burnt offerings and grain offerings,
I will not accept them. Instead, I will destroy them with the sword, famine and plague."
13. ÀÌ¿¡ ³»°¡ ¸»Ç쵂 ½½ÇÁµµ¼ÒÀÌ´Ù ÁÖ ¿©È£¿Í¿© º¸½Ã¿É¼Ò¼ ¼±ÁöÀÚµéÀÌ ±×µé¿¡°Ô À̸£±â¸¦
³ÊÈñ°¡ Ä®À» º¸Áö ¾Æ´ÏÇÏ°Ú°í ±â±ÙÀº ³ÊÈñ¿¡°Ô À̸£Áö ¾Æ´ÏÇÒ °ÍÀ̶ó
³»°¡ ÀÌ °÷¿¡¼ ³ÊÈñ¿¡°Ô È®½ÇÇÑ Æò°À» ÁÖ¸®¶ó ÇϳªÀÌ´Ù
But I said, "Ah, Sovereign LORD, the prophets keep telling them, 'You will not see the sword
or suffer famine. Indeed, I will give you lasting peace in this place.'"
14. ¿©È£¿Í²²¼ ³»°Ô À̸£½ÃµÇ ¼±ÁöÀÚµéÀÌ ³» À̸§À¸·Î °ÅÁþ ¿¹¾ðÀ» Çϵµ´Ù ³ª´Â ±×µéÀ» º¸³»Áö ¾Æ´ÏÇÏ¿´°í
±×µé¿¡°Ô ¸í·ÉÇϰųª À̸£Áö ¾Æ´ÏÇÏ¿´°Å´Ã ±×µéÀÌ °ÅÁþ °è½Ã¿Í Á¡¼ú°ú ÇêµÈ °Í°ú
Àڱ⠸¶À½ÀÇ °ÅÁþÀ¸·Î ³ÊÈñ¿¡°Ô ¿¹¾ðÇϴµµ´Ù
Then the LORD said to me, "The prophets are prophesying lies in my name. I have not sent them
or appointed them or spoken to them. They are prophesying to you false visions,
divinations, idolatries and the delusions of their own minds.
15. ±×·¯¹Ç·Î ³»°¡ º¸³»Áö ¾Æ´ÏÇÏ¿´¾îµµ ³» À̸§À¸·Î ¿¹¾ðÇÏ¿© À̸£±â¸¦ Ä®°ú ±â±ÙÀÌ ÀÌ ¶¥¿¡ À̸£Áö
¾Æ´ÏÇϸ®¶ó ÇÏ´Â ¼±ÁöÀڵ鿡 ´ëÇÏ¿© ¿©È£¿Í²²¼ ÀÌ¿Í °°ÀÌ ¸»¾¸Çϼ̳ë¶ó
±× ¼±ÁöÀÚµéÀº Ä®°ú ±â±Ù¿¡ ¸ê¸ÁÇÒ °ÍÀÌ¿ä
Therefore, this is what the LORD says about the prophets who are prophesying in my name :
I did not send them, yet they are saying, 'No sword or famine will touch this land.'
Those same prophets will perish by sword and famine.
16. ±×µéÀÇ ¿¹¾ðÀ» ¹ÞÀº ¹é¼ºÀº ±â±Ù°ú Ä®·Î ¸»¹Ì¾Ï¾Æ ¿¹·ç»ì·½ °Å¸®¿¡ ´øÁüÀ» ´çÇÒ °ÍÀÎÁï ±×µéÀ» Àå»çÇÒ
ÀÚ°¡ ¾øÀ» °ÍÀÌ¿ä ±×µéÀÇ ¾Æ³»¿Í ¾Æµé°ú µþÀÌ ±×·¸°Ô µÇ¸®´Ï ÀÌ´Â ³»°¡ ±×µéÀÇ ¾ÇÀ» ±× À§¿¡ ºÎÀ½À̴϶ó
And the people they are prophesying to will be thrown out into the streets of Jerusalem
because of the famine and sword.
17. ³Ê´Â ÀÌ ¸»·Î ±×µé¿¡°Ô À̸£¶ó ³» ´«ÀÌ ¹ã³·À¸·Î ±×Ä¡Áö ¾Æ´ÏÇÏ°í ´«¹°À» È긮¸®´Ï
À̴ ó³à µþ ³» ¹é¼ºÀÌ Å« Æĸê, ÁßÇÑ »óó·Î ¸»¹Ì¾Ï¾Æ ¸ÁÇÔÀ̶ó
¡°Speak this word to them : "'Let my eyes overflow with tears night and day without ceasing;
for my virgin daughter--my people--has suffered a grievous wound, a crushing blow.
18. ³»°¡ µé¿¡ ³ª°£Áï Ä®¿¡ Á×Àº ÀÚ¿ä ³»°¡ ¼ºÀ¾¿¡ µé¾î°£Áï ±â±ÙÀ¸·Î º´µç ÀÚ¸ç ¼±ÁöÀÚ³ª Á¦»çÀåÀ̳ª
¾ËÁö ¸øÇÏ´Â ¶¥À¸·Î µÎ·ç ´Ù´Ïµµ´Ù
If I go into the country, I see those slain by the sword; if I go into the city, I see the ravages
of famine. Both prophet and priest have gone to a land they know not.'"
19. ÁÖ²²¼ À¯´Ù¸¦ ¿ÂÀüÈ÷ ¹ö¸®½Ã³ªÀ̱î ÁÖÀÇ ½É·ÉÀÌ ½Ã¿ÂÀ» ½È¾îÇϽóªÀÌ±î ¾îÂîÇÏ¿© ¿ì¸®¸¦ Ä¡½Ã°í Ä¡·á
ÇÏÁö ¾Æ´ÏÇϽóªÀÌ±î ¿ì¸®°¡ Æò°À» ¹Ù¶óµµ ÁÁÀº °ÍÀÌ ¾ø°í Ä¡·á ¹Þ±â¸¦ ±â´Ù¸®³ª µÎ·Á¿ò¸¸ º¸³ªÀÌ´Ù
Have you rejected Judah completely? Do you despise Zion? Why have you afflicted us
so that we cannot be healed? We hoped for peace but no good has come,
for a time of healing but there is only terror.
20. ¿©È£¿Í¿© ¿ì¸®ÀÇ ¾Ç°ú ¿ì¸® Á¶»óÀÇ Á˾ÇÀ» ÀÎÁ¤ÇϳªÀÌ´Ù ¿ì¸®°¡ ÁÖ²² ¹üÁËÇÏ¿´³ªÀÌ´Ù
O LORD, we acknowledge our wickedness and the guilt of our fathers;
we have indeed sinned against you.
21. ÁÖÀÇ À̸§À» À§ÇÏ¿© ¿ì¸®¸¦ ¹Ì¿öÇÏÁö ¸¶¿É¼Ò¼ ÁÖÀÇ ¿µ±¤ÀÇ º¸Á¸¦ ¿åµÇ°Ô ¸¶¿É¼Ò¼
ÁÖ²²¼ ¿ì¸®¿Í ¼¼¿ì½Å ¾ð¾àÀ» ±â¾ïÇϽðí ÆóÇÏÁö ¸¶¿É¼Ò¼
For the sake of your name do not despise us; do not dishonor your glorious throne.
Remember your covenant with us and do not break it.
22. À̹æÀÎÀÇ ¿ì»ó °¡¿îµ¥ ´ÉÈ÷ ºñ¸¦ ³»¸®°Ô ÇÒ ÀÚ°¡ ÀÖ³ªÀ̱î ÇÏ´ÃÀÌ ´ÉÈ÷ ¼Ò³ª±â¸¦ ³»¸± ¼ö ÀÖÀ¸¸®À̱î
¿ì¸® Çϳª´Ô ¿©È£¿Í¿© ±×¸®ÇÏ´Â ÀÚ´Â ÁÖ°¡ ¾Æ´Ï½Ã´ÏÀÌ±î ±×·¯¹Ç·Î ¿ì¸®°¡
ÁÖ¸¦ ¾Ó¸ÁÇÏ¿É´Â °ÍÀº ÁÖ²²¼ ÀÌ ¸ðµç °ÍÀ» ¸¸µå¼ÌÀ½ÀÌ´ÏÀÌ´Ù Çϴ϶ó
Do any of the worthless idols of the nations bring rain? Do the skies themselves send down
showers? No, it is you, O LORD our God. Therefore our hope is in you,
for you are the one who does all this.
