Paul, a servant of Christ Jesus, called to be an apostle and set apart for the gospel of God.
2. ÀÌ º¹À½Àº Çϳª´ÔÀÌ ¼±ÁöÀÚµéÀ» ÅëÇÏ¿© ±×ÀÇ ¾Æµé¿¡ °üÇÏ¿© ¼º°æ¿¡ ¹Ì¸® ¾à¼ÓÇϽаÍÀ̶ó
the gospel he promised beforehand through his prophets in the Holy Scriptures
3. ±×ÀÇ ¾Æµé¿¡ °üÇÏ¿© ¸»Çϸé À°½ÅÀ¸·Î´Â ´ÙÀÀÇ Ç÷Åë¿¡¼ ³ª¼Ì°í
regarding his Son, who as to his human through his prophets in the Holy Scriptures
4. ¼º°áÀÇ ¿µÀ¸·Î´Â Á×Àº ÀÚµé °¡¿îµ¥¼ ºÎȰÇÏ»ç ´É·ÂÀ¸·Î Çϳª´ÔÀÇ ¾Æµé·Î ¼±Æ÷µÇ¼ÌÀ¸´Ï °ð ¿ì¸®
ÁÖ ¿¹¼ö ±×¸®½ºµµ½Ã´Ï¶ó
and who through the Spirit of holiness was declared with power to be the Son of God by his resurrection
from the dead: Jesus Christ our Lord.
5. ±×·Î ¸»¹Ì¾Ï¾Æ ¿ì¸®°¡ ÀºÇý¿Í »çµµÀÇ Á÷ºÐÀ» ¹Þ¾Æ ±×ÀÇ À̸§À» À§ÇÏ¿© ¸ðµç À̹æÀÎ Áß¿¡¼ ¹Ï¾î
¼øÁ¾ÇÏ°Ô Çϳª´Ï
Through him and for his name's sake, we received grace and apostleship to call people from among all the
Gentiles to the obedience that comes from faith.
6. ³ÊÈñµµ ±×µé Áß¿¡¼ ¿¹¼ö ±×¸®½ºµµÀÇ °ÍÀ¸·Î ºÎ¸£½ÉÀ» ¹ÞÀº Àڴ϶ó
And you also are among those who are called to belong to Jesus Christ.

To all in Rome who are loved by God and called to be saints: Grace and peace to you from God our Father
and from the Lord Jesus Christ.

First, I thank my God through Jesus Christ for all of you, because your faith is being reported all over world.
9. ³»°¡ ±×ÀÇ ¾ÆµéÀÇ º¹À½ ¾È¿¡¼ ³» ½É·ÉÀ¸·Î ¼¶±â´Â Çϳª´ÔÀÌ ³ªÀÇ ÁõÀÎÀÌ µÇ½Ã°Å´Ï¿Í Ç×»ó ³» ±âµµ¿¡
½¬Áö ¾Ê°í ³ÊÈñ¸¦ ¸»Çϸç
God, whom I serve with my whole heart in preaching the gospel of his Son, is my witness how constantly
I remember you
10. ¾î¶»°Ô ÇϵçÁö ÀÌÁ¦ Çϳª´ÔÀÇ ¶æ ¾È¿¡¼ ³ÊÈñ¿¡°Ô·Î ³ª¾Æ°¥ ÁÁÀº ±æ ¾ò±â¸¦ ±¸Çϳë¶ó
in my prayers at all times; and I pray that now at last by God's will the way may be opened for me
to come to you.
11. ³»°¡ ³ÊÈñ º¸±â¸¦ °£ÀýÈ÷ ¿øÇÏ´Â °ÍÀº ¾î¶² ½Å·ÉÇÑ Àº»ç¸¦ ³ÊÈñ¿¡°Ô ³ª´©¾î ÁÖ¾î ³ÊÈñ¸¦ °ß°íÇϰÔ
ÇÏ·Á ÇÔÀÌ´Ï
I long to see you so that I may impart to you some spiritual gift to make you strong --
12. ÀÌ´Â °ð ³»°¡ ³ÊÈñ °¡¿îµ¥¼ ³ÊÈñ¿Í ³ªÀÇ ¹ÏÀ½À¸·Î ¸»¹Ì¾Ï¾Æ ÇÇÂ÷ ¾ÈÀ§ÇÔÀ» ¾òÀ¸·Á ÇÔÀ̶ó
that is, that you and I may be mutually encouraged by each other's faith.
13. ÇüÁ¦µé¾Æ ³»°¡ ¿©·¯ ¹ø ³ÊÈñ¿¡°Ô °¡°íÀÚ ÇÑ °ÍÀ» ³ÊÈñ°¡ ¸ð¸£±â¸¦ ¿øÇÏÁö ¾Æ´ÏÇϳë´Ï ÀÌ´Â ³ÊÈñ Áß¿¡¼µµ
´Ù¸¥ À̹æÀÎ Áß¿¡¼¿Í °°ÀÌ ¿¸Å¸¦ ¸Î°Ô ÇÏ·Á ÇÔÀÌ·ÎµÇ Áö±Ý±îÁö ±æÀÌ ¸·Çûµµ´Ù
I do not want you to be unaware, brothers, that I planned many times to come to you (but have been
prevented from doing so until now) in order that I might have a harvest among you, just as I have had
among the other Gentiles.
14. Çï¶óÀÎÀ̳ª ¾ß¸¸ÀÎÀ̳ª ÁöÇý ÀÖ´Â ÀÚ³ª ¾î¸®¼®Àº ÀÚ¿¡°Ô ´Ù ³»°¡ ºúÁø ÀÚ¶ó
I am obligated both to Greeks and non-Greeks, both to the wise and the foolish.
15. ±×·¯¹Ç·Î ³ª´Â ÇÒ ¼ö ÀÖ´Â ´ë·Î ·Î¸¶¿¡ ÀÖ´Â ³ÊÈñ¿¡°Ôµµ º¹À½ ÀüÇϱ⸦ ¿øÇϳë¶ó
That is why I am so eager to preach the gospel also to you who are at Rome.
16. ³»°¡ º¹À½À» ºÎ²ô·¯¿öÇÏÁö ¾Æ´ÏÇϳë´Ï ÀÌ º¹À½Àº ¸ðµç ¹Ï´Â ÀÚ¿¡°Ô ±¸¿øÀ» Áֽô Çϳª´ÔÀÇ ´É·ÂÀÌ
µÊÀ̶ó ¸ÕÀú´Â À¯´ëÀο¡°Ô¿ä ±×¸®°í Çï¶óÀο¡°Ô·Î´Ù
I am not ashamed of the gospel, because it is the power of God for the salvation of everyone who believes:
first for the Jew, then for the Gentile.
17. º¹À½¿¡´Â Çϳª´ÔÀÇ Àǰ¡ ³ªÅ¸³ª¼ ¹ÏÀ½À¸·Î ¹ÏÀ½¿¡ À̸£°Ô Çϳª´Ï ±â·ÏµÈ ¹Ù ¿ÀÁ÷ ÀÇÀÎÀº ¹ÏÀ½À¸·Î
¸»¹Ì¾Ï¾Æ »ì¸®¶ó ÇÔ°ú °°À¸´Ï¶ó
For in the gospel a righteousness from God is revealed, a righteousness that is by faith from first to last,
just as it is written: "The righteous will live by faith."
18. ¡ÛÇϳª´ÔÀÇ Áø³ë°¡ ºÒÀÇ·Î Áø¸®¸¦ ¸·´Â »ç¶÷µéÀÇ ¸ðµç °æ°ÇÇÏÁö ¾ÊÀ½°ú ºÒÀÇ¿¡ ´ëÇÏ¿© Çϴ÷κÎÅÍ
³ªÅ¸³ª³ª´Ï
The wrath of God is being revealed from heaven against all the godlessness and wickedness of men who
suppress the truth by their wickedness.
19. ÀÌ´Â Çϳª´ÔÀ» ¾Ë ¸¸ÇÑ °ÍÀÌ ±×µé ¼Ó¿¡ º¸ÀÓÀ̶ó Çϳª´Ô²²¼ À̸¦ ±×µé¿¡°Ô º¸À̴̼À´Ï¶ó
since what my be known about God is plain to them, because God has made it plain to them.
20. â¼¼·ÎºÎÅÍ ±×ÀÇ º¸ÀÌÁö ¾Æ´ÏÇÏ´Â °Íµé °ð ±×ÀÇ ¿µ¿øÇϽŠ´É·Â°ú ½Å¼ºÀÌ ±×°¡ ¸¸µå½Å ¸¸¹°¿¡ ºÐ¸íÈ÷ º¸¿©
¾Ë·ÁÁ³³ª´Ï ±×·¯¹Ç·Î ±×µéÀÌ ÇΰèÇÏÁö ¸øÇÒÁö´Ï¶ó
For since the creation of the world God's invisible qualities -- his eternal power and divine nature -- have
been clearly seen, being understood from what has been made, so that men are without excuse.
21. Çϳª´ÔÀ» ¾ËµÇ Çϳª´ÔÀ» ¿µÈ·Ó°Ôµµ ¾Æ´ÏÇÏ¸ç °¨»çÇÏÁöµµ ¾Æ´ÏÇÏ°í ¿ÀÈ÷·Á ±× »ý°¢ÀÌ Çã¸ÁÇÏ¿©Áö¸ç
¹Ì·ÃÇÑ ¸¶À½ÀÌ ¾îµÎ¿öÁ³³ª´Ï
For although they knew God, they neither glorified him as God nor gave thanks to him, but their thinking
became futile and their foolish hearts were darkened.
22. ½º½º·Î ÁöÇý ÀÖ´Ù Çϳª ¾î¸®¼®°Ô µÇ¾î
Although they claimed to be wise, they became fools
23. ½â¾îÁöÁö ¾Æ´ÏÇÏ´Â Çϳª´ÔÀÇ ¿µ±¤À» ½â¾îÁú »ç¶÷°ú »õ¿Í Áü½Â°ú ±â¾î´Ù´Ï´Â µ¿¹° ¸ð¾çÀÇ ¿ì»óÀ¸·Î
¹Ù²Ù¾ú´À´Ï¶ó
and exchanged the glory of the immortal God for images made to look like mortal man and birds and animals
and reptiles.
24. ¡Û±×·¯¹Ç·Î Çϳª´Ô²²¼ ±×µéÀ» ¸¶À½ÀÇ Á¤¿å´ë·Î ´õ·¯¿ò¿¡ ³»¹ö·Á µÎ»ç ±×µéÀÇ ¸öÀ» ¼·Î ¿åµÇ°Ô ÇÏ°Ô ÇϼÌÀ¸´Ï
Therefore God gave them over in the sinful desires of their hearts to sexual impurity for the degrading of their
bodies with one another.
25. ÀÌ´Â ±×µéÀÌ Çϳª´ÔÀÇ Áø¸®¸¦ °ÅÁþ °ÍÀ¸·Î ¹Ù²Ù¾î ÇÇÁ¶¹°À» Á¶¹°ÁÖº¸´Ù ´õ °æ¹èÇÏ°í ¼¶±èÀ̶ó ÁÖ´Â
°ð ¿µ¿øÈ÷ Âù¼ÛÇÒ À̽÷δ٠¾Æ¸à
They exchanged the truth of God for a lie, and worshiped and served created things rather than the
Creator -- who is forever praised. Amen
26. ¡ÛÀÌ ¶§¹®¿¡ Çϳª´Ô²²¼ ±×µéÀ» ºÎ²ô·¯¿î ¿å½É¿¡ ³»¹ö·Á µÎ¼ÌÀ¸´Ï °ð ±×µéÀÇ ¿©Àڵ鵵 ¼ø¸®´ë·Î ¾µ °ÍÀ»
¹Ù²Ù¾î ¿ª¸®·Î ¾²¸ç
Because of this, God gave them over to shameful lusts. Even their women exchanged natural relations for
unnatural ones.
27. ±×¿Í °°ÀÌ ³²Àڵ鵵 ¼ø¸®´ë·Î ¿©ÀÚ ¾²±â¸¦ ¹ö¸®°í ¼·Î ÇâÇÏ¿© À½¿åÀÌ ºÒ ÀÏ µí Çϸг²ÀÚ°¡ ³²ÀÚ¿Í ´õºÒ¾î
ºÎ²ô·¯¿î ÀÏÀ» ÇàÇÏ¿© ±×µéÀÇ ±×¸©µÊ¿¡ »ó´çÇÑ º¸ÀÀÀ» ±×µé ÀÚ½ÅÀÌ ¹Þ¾Ò´À´Ï¶ó
In the same way the men also abandoned natural relations with women and were inflamed with lust for one
another. Men committed indecent acts with other men, and received in themselves the due penalty for their
perversion.
28. ¡Û¶ÇÇÑ ±×µéÀÌ ¸¶À½¿¡ Çϳª´Ô µÎ±â¸¦ ½È¾îÇϸŠÇϳª´Ô²²¼ ±×µéÀ» ±× »ó½ÇÇÑ ¸¶À½´ë·Î ³»¹ö·Á µÎ»ç
ÇÕ´çÇÏÁö ¸øÇÑ ÀÏÀ» ÇÏ°Ô ÇϼÌÀ¸´Ï
Furthermore, since they did not think it worthwhile to retain the knowledge of God, he gave them over to a
depraved mind, to do what ought not to be done.
29. °ð ¸ðµç ºÒÀÇ, Ãß¾Ç, Ž¿å, ¾ÇÀǰ¡ °¡µæÇÑ ÀÚ¿ä ½Ã±â, »ìÀÎ, ºÐÀï, »ç±â, ¾Çµ¶ÀÌ °¡µæÇÑ ÀÚ¿ä ¼ö±º¼ö±ºÇÏ´Â ÀÚ¿ä
They have become filled with every kind of wickedness, evil, greed and depravity. They are full of envy, murder,
strife, deceit and malice. They are gossips.
30. ºñ¹æÇÏ´Â ÀÚ¿ä Çϳª´Ô²² ¹Ì¿öÇϽô ÀÚ¿ä ´É¿åÇÏ´Â ÀÚ¿ä ±³¸¸ÇÑ ÀÚ¿ä ÀÚ¶ûÇÏ´Â ÀÚ¿ä ¾ÇÀ» µµ¸ðÇÏ´Â ÀÚ¿ä
ºÎ¸ð¸¦ °Å¿ªÇÏ´Â ÀÚ¿ä
Slanderers, God-haters, insolent, arrogant and boastful; they invent ways of doing evil; they disobey their
parents;
31. ¿ì¸ÅÇÑ ÀÚ¿ä ¹è¾àÇÏ´Â ÀÚ¿ä ¹«Á¤ÇÑ ÀÚ¿ä ¹«ÀÚºñÇÑ ÀÚ¶ó
they are senseless, faithless, heartless, ruthless.
32. ±×µéÀÌ À̰°Àº ÀÏÀ» ÇàÇÏ´Â ÀÚ´Â »çÇü¿¡ ÇØ´çÇÑ´Ù°í Çϳª´Ô²²¼ Á¤ÇϽÉÀ» ¾Ë°íµµ ÀÚ±âµé¸¸ ÇàÇÒ »Ó ¾Æ´Ï¶ó
¶ÇÇÑ ±×·± ÀÏÀ» ÇàÇÏ´Â ÀÚµéÀ» ¿Ç´Ù ÇÏ´À´Ï¶ó
Although they know God's righteous decree that those who do such things deserve death, they not only
continue to do these very things but also approve of those who practice them.
