    1. ÇüÁ¦µé¾Æ ¿ì¸®°¡ ³ÊÈñ °¡¿îµ¥ µé¾î°£ °ÍÀÌ ÇêµÇÁö ¾ÊÀº ÁÙÀ» ³ÊÈñ°¡ Ä£È÷ ¾Æ³ª´Ï
       You know, brothers, that our visit to you was not a failure.

    2. ³ÊÈñ°¡ ¾Æ´Â ¹Ù¿Í °°ÀÌ ¿ì¸®°¡ ¸ÕÀú ºô¸³º¸¿¡¼­ °í³­°ú ´É¿åÀ» ´çÇÏ¿´À¸³ª ¿ì¸® Çϳª´ÔÀ» ÈûÀÔ¾î ¸¹Àº
       ½Î¿ò Áß¿¡ Çϳª´ÔÀÇ º¹À½À» ³ÊÈñ¿¡°Ô ÀüÇÏ¿´³ë¶ó
       We had previously suffered and been insulted in Philippi, as you know, but with the help of our God we
       dared to tell you his gospel in spite of strong opposition.

    3. ¿ì¸®ÀÇ ±Ç¸éÀº °£»çÇÔÀ̳ª ºÎÁ¤¿¡¼­ ³­ °ÍÀÌ ¾Æ´Ï¿ä ¼ÓÀÓ¼ö·Î ÇÏ´Â °Íµµ ¾Æ´Ï¶ó
       For the appeal we make does not spring from error or impure motives, nor are we trying to trick you.

    4. ¿ÀÁ÷ Çϳª´Ô²² ¿Ç°Ô ¿©±â½ÉÀ» ÀÔ¾î º¹À½À» À§Å¹ ¹Þ¾ÒÀ¸´Ï ¿ì¸®°¡ ÀÌ¿Í °°ÀÌ ¸»ÇÔÀº »ç¶÷À» ±â»Ú°Ô ÇÏ·Á ÇÔÀÌ
       ¾Æ´Ï¿ä ¿ÀÁ÷ ¿ì¸® ¸¶À½À» °¨ÂûÇϽô Çϳª´ÔÀ» ±â»Ú½Ã°Ô ÇÏ·Á ÇÔÀ̶ó
       On the contrary, we speak as men approved by God to be entrusted with the gospel. We are not trying to
       please men but God, who tests our hearts.

    5. ³ÊÈñµµ ¾Ë°Å´Ï¿Í ¿ì¸®°¡ ¾Æ¹« ¶§¿¡µµ ¾Æ÷ÇÏ´Â ¸»À̳ª Ž½ÉÀÇ Å»À» ¾²Áö ¾Æ´ÏÇÑ °ÍÀ» Çϳª´ÔÀÌ Áõ¾ðÇϽôÀ´Ï¶ó
       You know we never used flattery, nor did we put on a mask to cover up greed -- God is our witness.

    6. ¶ÇÇÑ ¿ì¸®´Â ³ÊÈñ¿¡°Ô¼­µçÁö ´Ù¸¥ ÀÌ¿¡°Ô¼­µçÁö »ç¶÷¿¡°Ô¼­´Â ¿µ±¤À» ±¸ÇÏÁö ¾Æ´ÏÇÏ¿´³ë¶ó
       We were not looking for praise from men, not from you or anyone else. As apostles of Christ we could have
       been a burden to you,

    7. ¿ì¸®´Â ±×¸®½ºµµÀÇ »çµµ·Î¼­ ¸¶¶¥È÷ ±ÇÀ§¸¦ ÁÖÀåÇÒ ¼ö ÀÖÀ¸³ª µµ¸®¾î ³ÊÈñ °¡¿îµ¥¼­ À¯¼øÇÑ ÀÚ°¡ µÇ¾î
       À¯¸ð°¡ ÀÚ±â Àڳฦ ±â¸§°ú °°ÀÌ ÇÏ¿´À¸´Ï
       but we were gentle among you, like a mother caring for her little children.

    8. ¿ì¸®°¡ ÀÌ°°ÀÌ ³ÊÈñ¸¦ »ç¸ðÇÏ¿© Çϳª´ÔÀÇ º¹À½»Ó ¾Æ´Ï¶ó ¿ì¸®ÀÇ ¸ñ¼û±îÁöµµ ³ÊÈñ¿¡°Ô Áֱ⸦ ±â»µÇÔÀº
       ³ÊÈñ°¡ ¿ì¸®ÀÇ »ç¶ûÇÏ´Â ÀÚ µÊÀ̶ó
       We loved you so much that we were delighted to share with you not only the gospel of God but our lives
       as well, because you had become so dear to us.

    9. ÇüÁ¦µé¾Æ ¿ì¸®ÀÇ ¼ö°í¿Í ¾Ö¾´ °ÍÀ» ³ÊÈñ°¡ ±â¾ïÇϸ®´Ï ³ÊÈñ ¾Æ¹«¿¡°Ôµµ Æó¸¦ ³¢Ä¡Áö ¾Æ´ÏÇÏ·Á°í ¹ã³·À¸·Î
       ÀÏÇϸ鼭 ³ÊÈñ¿¡°Ô Çϳª´ÔÀÇ º¹À½À» ÀüÇÏ¿´³ë¶ó
       Surely you remember, brothers, our toil and hardship; we worked night and day in order not to be a burden to
       anyone while we preached the gospel of God to you.

    10. ¿ì¸®°¡ ³ÊÈñ ¹Ï´Â ÀÚµéÀ» ÇâÇÏ¿© ¾î¶»°Ô °Å·èÇÏ°í ¿Ç°í Èì ¾øÀÌ ÇàÇÏ¿´´ÂÁö¿¡ ´ëÇÏ¿© ³ÊÈñ°¡ ÁõÀÎÀÌ¿ä
        Çϳª´Ôµµ ±×·¯ÇϽõµ´Ù
       You are witnesses, and so is God, of how holy, righteous and blameless we were among you who believed.

    11. ³ÊÈñµµ ¾Æ´Â ¹Ù¿Í °°ÀÌ ¿ì¸®°¡ ³ÊÈñ °¢ »ç¶÷¿¡°Ô ¾Æ¹öÁö°¡ ÀÚ±â Àڳ࿡°Ô ÇÏµí ±Ç¸éÇÏ°í À§·ÎÇÏ°í °æ°èÇϳë´Ï
       For you know that we dealt with each of you as a father deals with his own children,

        encouraging, comforting and urging you to live lives worthy of God, who calls you into his kingdom and glory.

    13. ¡ÛÀÌ·¯¹Ç·Î ¿ì¸®°¡ Çϳª´Ô²² ²÷ÀÓ¾øÀÌ °¨»çÇÔÀº ³ÊÈñ°¡ ¿ì¸®¿¡°Ô µéÀº ¹Ù Çϳª´ÔÀÇ ¸»¾¸À» ¹ÞÀ» ¶§¿¡
        »ç¶÷ÀÇ ¸»·Î ¹ÞÁö ¾Æ´ÏÇÏ°í Çϳª´ÔÀÇ ¸»¾¸À¸·Î ¹ÞÀ½ÀÌ´Ï Áø½Ç·Î ±×·¯Çϵµ´Ù ÀÌ ¸»¾¸ÀÌ ¶ÇÇÑ ³ÊÈñ ¹Ï´Â ÀÚ
        °¡¿îµ¥¼¼¼­ ¿ª»çÇÏ´À´Ï¶ó
        And we also thank God continually because, when you received the word of God, which you heard from us, you
        accepted it not as the word of men, but as it actually is, the word of God, which is at work in you who believe.

        µé¿¡°Ô °í³­À» ¹ÞÀ½°ú °°ÀÌ ³ÊÈñµµ ³ÊÈñ µ¿Á·¿¡°Ô¼­ µ¿ÀÏÇÑ °í³­À» ¹Þ¾Ò´À´Ï¶ó
        For you, brothers, became imitators of God's churches in Judea, which are in Christ Jesus: You suffered from
        your own countrymen the same things those churches suffered from the Jews.

    15. À¯´ëÀÎÀº ÁÖ ¿¹¼ö¿Í ¼±ÁöÀÚµéÀ» Á×ÀÌ°í ¿ì¸®¸¦ ÂѾƳ»°í Çϳª´ÔÀ» ±â»Ú½Ã°Ô ÇÏÁö ¾Æ´ÏÇÏ°í ¸ðµç »ç¶÷¿¡°Ô
        ´ëÀûÀÌ µÇ¾î
        who killed the Lord Jesus and the prophets and also drove us out. They displease God and are hostile to
        all men

    16. ¿ì¸®°¡ À̹æÀο¡°Ô ¸»ÇÏ¿© ±¸¿ø¹Þ°Ô ÇÔÀ» ±×µéÀÌ ±ÝÇÏ¿© ÀÚ±â Á˸¦ Ç×»ó ä¿ì¸Å ´©ÇϽÉÀÌ ³¡±îÁö ±×µé¿¡°Ô
        ÀÓÇÏ¿´´À´Ï¶ó
        in their effort to keep us from speaking to the Gentiles so that they may be saved. In this way they always
        heap up their sins to the limit. The wrath of God has come upon them at last.

    17. ¡ÛÇüÁ¦µé¾Æ ¿ì¸®°¡ Àá½Ã ³ÊÈñ¸¦ ¶°³­ °ÍÀº ¾ó±¼ÀÌ¿ä ¸¶À½Àº ¾Æ´Ï´Ï ³ÊÈñ ¾ó±¼ º¸±â¸¦ ¿­Á¤À¸·Î ´õ¿í Èû½è³ë¶ó
        But, bothers, when we were torn away from you for a short time (in person, not in thought), out of our intense
        longing we made every effort to see you.

    18. ±×·¯¹Ç·Î ³ª ¹Ù¿ïÀº Çѹø µÎ ¹ø ³ÊÈñ¿¡°Ô °¡°íÀÚ ÇÏ¿´À¸³ª »çźÀÌ ¿ì¸®¸¦ ¸·¾Òµµ´Ù
        For we wanted to come to you -- certainly I, Paul, did, again and again -- but Satan stopped us.

    19. ¿ì¸®ÀÇ ¼Ò¸ÁÀ̳ª ±â»ÝÀ̳ª ÀÚ¶ûÀÇ ¸é·ù°üÀÌ ¹«¾ùÀÌ³Ä ±×°¡ °­¸²ÇÏ½Ç ¶§ ¿ì¸® ÁÖ ¿¹¼ö ¾Õ¿¡ ³ÊÈñ°¡ ¾Æ´Ï³Ä
        For what is our hope, our joy, or the crown in which we will glory in the presence of our Lord Jesus when
        he comes? Is it not you?
    20. ³ÊÈñ´Â ¿ì¸®ÀÇ ¿µ±¤ÀÌ¿ä ±â»ÝÀ̴϶ó
        Indeed, you are our glory and joy.
