    1. ¾î¶² º´ÀÚ°¡ ÀÖÀ¸´Ï ÀÌ´Â ¸¶¸®¾Æ¿Í ±× ÀڸŠ¸¶¸£´ÙÀÇ ¸¶À» º£´Ù´Ï¿¡ »ç´Â ³ª»ç·Î¶ó
      Now a man named Lazarus was sick. He was from Bethany, the village of Mary and her sister Martha.

    2. ÀÌ ¸¶¸®¾Æ´Â ÇâÀ¯¸¦ ÁÖ²² º×°í ¸Ó¸®ÅзΠÁÖÀÇ ¹ßÀ» ´Û´ø ÀÚ¿ä º´µç ³ª»ç·Î´Â ±×ÀÇ ¿À¶ó¹ö´Ï´õ¶ó
       This Mary, whose brother Lazarus now lay sick, was the same one who poured perfume on the Lord
       and wiped his feet with her hair.

    3. ÀÌ¿¡ ±× ´©À̵éÀÌ ¿¹¼ö²² »ç¶÷À» º¸³»¾î À̸£µÇ ÁÖ¿© º¸½Ã¿É¼Ò¼­ »ç¶ûÇϽô ÀÚ°¡ º´µé¾ú³ªÀÌ´Ù ÇÏ´Ï
      So the sisters sent word to Jesus, "Lord, the one you love is sick."

    4. ¿¹¼ö²²¼­ µéÀ¸½Ã°í À̸£½ÃµÇ ÀÌ º´Àº Á×À» º´ÀÌ ¾Æ´Ï¶ó Çϳª´ÔÀÇ ¿µ±¤À» À§ÇÔÀÌ¿ä Çϳª´ÔÀÇ ¾ÆµéÀÌ ÀÌ·Î
       ¸»¹Ì¾Ï¾Æ ¿µ±¤À» ¹Þ°Ô ÇÏ·Á ÇÔÀ̶ó ÇϽôõ¶ó
      When he heard this, "Jesus said, "This sickness will not end in death. No, it is for God's glory so that God's
       Son may be glorified through it."

    5. ¿¹¼ö²²¼­ º»·¡ ¸¶¸£´Ù¿Í ±× µ¿»ý°ú ³ª»ç·Î¸¦ »ç¶ûÇϽôõ´Ï
      Jesus loved Martha and her sister and Lazarus.

    6. ³ª»ç·Î°¡ º´µé¾ú´Ù ÇÔÀ» µéÀ¸½Ã°í ±× °è½Ã´ø °÷¿¡ À̵éÀ» ´õ À¯ÇϽðí
      Yet when he heard that Lazarus was sick, he stayed where he was two more days.

      Then he said to his disciples, "Let us go back to Judea."

      "But Rabbi," they said, "a short while ago the Jews tried to stone you, and yet you are going back there?"

    9. ¿¹¼ö²²¼­ ´ë´äÇÏ½ÃµÇ ³·ÀÌ ¿­µÎ ½Ã°£ÀÌ ¾Æ´Ï³Ä »ç¶÷ÀÌ ³·¿¡ ´Ù´Ï¸é ÀÌ ¼¼»óÀÇ ºûÀ» º¸¹Ç·Î ½ÇÁ·ÇÏÁö ¾Æ´ÏÇÏ°í
      Jesus answered, "Are there not twelve hours of daylight? A man who walks by day will not stumble, for he sees
       by this world's light.

    10. ¹ã¿¡ ´Ù´Ï¸é ºûÀÌ ±× »ç¶÷ ¾È¿¡ ¾ø´Â °í·Î ½ÇÁ·ÇÏ´À´Ï¶ó
       It is when he walks by night that he stumbles, for he has no light."

    11. ÀÌ ¸»¾¸À» ÇϽŠÈÄ¿¡ ¶Ç À̸£½ÃµÇ ¿ì¸® Ä£±¸ ³ª»ç·Î°¡ Àáµé¾úµµ´Ù ±×·¯³ª ³»°¡ ±ú¿ì·¯ °¡³ë¶ó
       After he had said this, he went on to tell them, "Our friend Lazarus has fallen asleep, but I am going there
        to wake him up."

    12. Á¦ÀÚµéÀÌ À̸£µÇ ÁÖ¿© Àáµé¾úÀ¸¸é ³´°Ú³ªÀÌ´Ù ÇÏ´õ¶ó
       His disciples replied, "Lord, if he sleeps, he will get better."

    13. ¿¹¼ö´Â ±× Á×À½À» °¡¸®ÄÑ ¸»¾¸ÇϽŠ°ÍÀ̳ª ±×µéÀº Àáµé¾î ½¬´Â °ÍÀ» °¡¸®ÄÑ ¸»¾¸ÇϽÉÀÎ ÁÙ »ý°¢ÇÏ´ÂÁö¶ó
       Jesus had been speaking of his death, but his disciples thought he meant natural sleep.

    14. ÀÌ¿¡ ¿¹¼ö²²¼­ ¹àÈ÷ À̸£½ÃµÇ ³ª»ç·Î°¡ Á×¾ú´À´Ï¶ó
       So then he told them plainly, "Lazarus is dead,

    15. ³»°¡ °Å±â ÀÖÁö ¾Æ´ÏÇÑ °ÍÀ» ³ÊÈñ¸¦ À§ÇÏ¿© ±â»µÇϳë´Ï ÀÌ´Â ³ÊÈñ·Î ¹Ï°Ô ÇÏ·Á ÇÔÀ̶ó ±×·¯³ª ±×¿¡°Ô·Î
        °¡ÀÚ ÇϽôÏ
       and for your sake I am glad I was not there, so that you may believe. But let us go to him."

    16. µðµÎ¸ð¶ó°íµµ ÇÏ´Â µµ¸¶°¡ ´Ù¸¥ Á¦Àڵ鿡°Ô ¸»Ç쵂 ¿ì¸®µµ ÁÖ¿Í ÇÔ²² Á×À¸·¯ °¡ÀÚ Çϴ϶ó
       Then Thomas (called Didymus) said to the rest of the disciples, "Let us also go, that we may die with him."

       On his arrival, Jesus found that Lazarus had already been in the tomb for four days.

       Bethany was less than two miles from Jerusalem.

    19. ¸¹Àº À¯´ëÀÎÀÌ ¸¶¸£´Ù¿Í ¸¶¸®¾Æ¿¡°Ô ±× ¿À¶óºñÀÇ ÀÏ·Î À§¹®ÇÏ·¯ ¿Ô´õ´Ï
       and many Jews had come to Martha and Mary to comfort them in the loss of their brother.

    20. ¸¶¸£´Ù´Â ¿¹¼ö²²¼­ ¿À½Å´Ù´Â ¸»À» µè°í °ð ³ª°¡ ¸ÂÀÌÇ쵂 ¸¶¸®¾Æ´Â Áý¿¡ ¾É¾Ò´õ¶ó
       When Martha heard that Jesus was coming, she went out to meet him, but Mary stayed at home.

    21. ¸¶¸£´Ù°¡ ¿¹¼ö²² ¿©Â¥¿ÀµÇ ÁÖ²²¼­ ¿©±â °è¼Ì´õ¶ó¸é ³» ¿À¶ó¹ö´Ï°¡ Á×Áö ¾Æ´ÏÇÏ¿´°Ú³ªÀÌ´Ù
       ¡°Lord," Martha said to Jesus, "If you had been here, my brother would not have died.

    22. ±×·¯³ª ³ª´Â ÀÌÁ¦¶óµµ ÁÖ²²¼­ ¹«¾ùÀ̵çÁö Çϳª´Ô²² ±¸ÇϽô °ÍÀ» Çϳª´ÔÀÌ ÁÖ½Ç ÁÙÀ» ¾Æ³ªÀÌ´Ù
       But I know that even now God will give you whatever you ask."

    23. ¿¹¼ö²²¼­ À̸£½ÃµÇ ³× ¿À¶óºñ°¡ ´Ù½Ã »ì¾Æ³ª¸®¶ó
        Jesus said to her, "Your brother will rise again."

    24. ¸¶¸£´Ù°¡ À̸£µÇ ¸¶Áö¸· ³¯ ºÎÈ° ¶§¿¡´Â ´Ù½Ã »ì¾Æ³¯ ÁÙÀ» ³»°¡ ¾Æ³ªÀÌ´Ù
       Martha answered, "I know he will rise again in the resurrection at the last day."

    25. ¿¹¼ö²²¼­ À̸£½ÃµÇ ³ª´Â ºÎÈ°ÀÌ¿ä »ý¸íÀÌ´Ï ³ª¸¦ ¹Ï´Â ÀÚ´Â Á׾ »ì°Ú°í
       Jesus said to her, "I am the resurrection and the life. He who believes in me will live, even though he dies;

    26. ¹«¸© »ì¾Æ¼­ ³ª¸¦ ¹Ï´Â ÀÚ´Â ¿µ¿øÈ÷ Á×Áö ¾Æ´ÏÇϸ®´Ï ÀÌ°ÍÀ» ³×°¡ ¹Ï´À³Ä
       and whoever lives and believes in me will never die. Do you believe this?"

    27. À̸£µÇ ÁÖ¿© ±×·¯ÇÏ¿Ü´Ù ÁÖ´Â ±×¸®½ºµµ½Ã¿À ¼¼»ó¿¡ ¿À½Ã´Â Çϳª´ÔÀÇ ¾ÆµéÀ̽ŠÁÙ ³»°¡ ¹Ï³ªÀÌ´Ù
       ¡°Yes, Lord," she told him, "I believe that you are the Christ, the Son of God, who was to come into the world."

    28. ÀÌ ¸»À» ÇÏ°í µ¹¾Æ°¡¼­ °¡¸¸È÷ ±× ÀڸŠ¸¶¸®¾Æ¸¦ ºÒ·¯ ¸»Ç쵂 ¼±»ý´ÔÀÌ ¿À¼Å¼­ ³Ê¸¦ ºÎ¸£½Å´Ù ÇÏ´Ï
       And after she had said this, she went back and called her sister Mary aside. "The Teacher is here," she said,
       "and is asking for you."

    29. ¸¶¸®ÀÌ°¡ ÀÌ ¸»À» µè°í ±ÞÈ÷ ÀϾ ¿¹¼ö²² ³ª¾Æ°¡¸Å
       When Mary heard this, she got up quickly and went to him.

    30. ¿¹¼ö´Â ¾ÆÁ÷ ¸¶À»·Î µé¾î¿ÀÁö ¾Æ´ÏÇÏ½Ã°í ¸¶¸£´Ù°¡ ¸ÂÀÌÇß´ø °÷¿¡ ±×´ë·Î °è½Ã´õ¶ó
       Now Jesus had not yet entered the village, but was still at the place where Martha had met him.

    31. ¸¶¸®¾Æ¿Í ÇÔ²² Áý¿¡ ÀÖ¾î À§·ÎÇÏ´ø À¯´ëÀεéÀº ±×°¡ ±ÞÈ÷ ÀϾ ³ª°¡´Â °ÍÀ» º¸°í °îÇÏ·¯ ¹«´ý¿¡ °¡´Â ÁÙ·Î
        »ý°¢ÇÏ°í µû¶ó°¡´õ´Ï
       When he Jews who had been with Mary in the house, comforting her, noticed how quickly she got up and went
        out, they followed her, supposing she was going to the tomb to mourn there.

    32. ¸¶¸®¾Æ°¡ ¿¹¼ö °è½Å °÷¿¡ °¡¼­ ºÆ¿É°í ±× ¹ß ¾Õ¿¡ ¾þµå¸®¾î À̸£µÇ ÁÖ²²¼­ ¿©±â °è¼Ì´õ¶ó¸é ³» ¿À¶ó¹ö´Ï°¡
        Á×Áö ¾Æ´ÏÇÏ¿´°Ú³ªÀÌ´Ù ÇÏ´õ¶ó
       When Mary reached the place where Jesus was and saw him, she fell at his feet and said, "Lord, if you had
        been here, my brother would not have died."

    33. ¿¹¼ö²²¼­ ±×°¡ ¿ì´Â °Í°ú ¶Ç ÇÔ²² ¿Â À¯´ëÀεéÀÌ ¿ì´Â °ÍÀ» º¸½Ã°í ½É·É¿¡ ºñÅëÈ÷ ¿©±â½Ã°í ºÒ½ÖÈ÷ ¿©±â»ç
       When Jesus saw her weeping, and the Jews who had come along with her also weeping, he was deeply
        moved in spirit and troubled.

    34. À̸£½ÃµÇ ±×¸¦ ¾îµð µÎ¾ú´À³Ä À̸£µÇ ÁÖ¿© ¿Í¼­ º¸¿É¼Ò¼­ ÇÏ´Ï
       ¡°Where have you laid him?" he asked. "Come and see, Lord," they replied.

    35. ¿¹¼ö²²¼­ ´«¹°À» È긮½Ã´õ¶ó
       Jesus wept.

    36. ÀÌ¿¡ À¯´ëÀεéÀÌ ¸»Ç쵂 º¸¶ó ±×¸¦ ¾ó¸¶³ª »ç¶ûÇϼ̴°¡ Çϸç
       Then the Jews said, "See how he loved him!"

    37. ±× Áß ¾î¶² ÀÌ´Â ¸»Ç쵂 ¸ÍÀÎÀÇ ´«À» ¶ß°Ô ÇÑ ÀÌ »ç¶÷ÀÌ ±× »ç¶÷Àº Á×Áö ¾Ê°Ô ÇÒ ¼ö ¾ø¾ú´õ³Ä ÇÏ´õ¶ó
       But some of them said, "Could not he who opened the tomb. It was a cave with a stone laid across the
        entrance.

    38. ÀÌ¿¡ ¿¹¼ö²²¼­ ´Ù½Ã ¼ÓÀ¸·Î ºñÅëÈ÷ ¿©±â½Ã¸ç ¹«´ý¿¡ °¡½Ã´Ï ¹«´ýÀÌ ±¼ÀÌ¶ó ¸·¾Ò°Å´Ã
       Jesus, once more deeply moved, came to the tomb. It was a cave with a stone laid across the entrance.

    39. ¿¹¼ö²²¼­ À̸£½ÃµÇ µ¹À» ¿Å°Ü ³õÀ¸¶ó ÇÏ½Ã´Ï ±× Á×Àº ÀÚÀÇ ´©ÀÌ ¸¶¸£´Ù°¡ À̸£µÇ ÁÖ¿© Á×Àº Áö°¡ ³ªÈêÀÌ
        µÇ¾úÀ¸¸Å ¹ú½á ³¿»õ°¡ ³ª³ªÀÌ´Ù
       ¡°Take away the stone," he said. "But, Lord," said Martha, the sister of the dead man, "by this time there is
        a bad odor, for he has been there four days."

    40. ¿¹¼ö²²¼­ À̸£½ÃµÇ ³» ¸»ÀÌ ³×°¡ ¹ÏÀ¸¸é Çϳª´ÔÀÇ ¿µ±¤À» º¸¸®¶ó ÇÏÁö ¾Æ´ÏÇÏ¿´´À³Ä ÇϽôÏ
       Then Jesus said, "Did I not tell you believed, you would see the glory of God?"

    41. µ¹À» ¿Å°Ü ³õÀ¸´Ï ¿¹¼ö²²¼­ ´«À» µé¾î ¿ì·¯·¯ º¸½Ã°í À̸£½ÃµÇ ¾Æ¹öÁö¿© ³» ¸»À» µéÀ¸½Å °ÍÀ» °¨»çÇϳªÀÌ´Ù
       So they took away the stone. Then Jesus looked up and said, "Father, I thank you that you that you have
        heard me.

    42. Ç×»ó ³» ¸»À» µéÀ¸½Ã´Â ÁÙÀ» ³»°¡ ¾Ë¾Ò³ªÀÌ´Ù ±×·¯³ª ÀÌ ¸»¾¸ ÇÏ¿É´Â °ÍÀº µÑ·¯¼± ¹«¸®¸¦ À§ÇÔÀÌ´Ï
        °ð ¾Æ¹öÁö²²¼­ ³ª¸¦ º¸³»½Å °ÍÀ» ±×µé·Î ¹Ï°Ô ÇÏ·ÁÇÔÀÌ´ÏÀÌ´Ù
       I knew that you always hear me, but I said this for the benefit of the people standing her, that they may believe
        that you sent me."

    43. ÀÌ ¸»¾¸À» ÇϽðí Å« ¼Ò¸®·Î ³ª»ç·Î¾ß ³ª¿À¶ó ºÎ¸£½Ã´Ï
       When he had said this, Jesus called in a loud voice, "Lazarus, come out!"

    44. Á×Àº ÀÚ°¡ ¼öÁ·À» º£·Î µ¿ÀΠä·Î ³ª¿À´Âµ¥ ±× ¾ó±¼Àº ¼ö°Ç¿¡ ½Î¿´´õ¶ó ¿¹¼ö²²¼­ À̸£½ÃµÇ Ç®¾î ³õ¾Æ
        ´Ù´Ï°Ô Ç϶ó ÇϽô϶ó
       The dead man came out, his hands and feet wrapped with stripes of linen, and a cloth around his face. Jesus
        said to them, "Take off the grave clothes and let him go."

    45. ¡Û¸¶¸®¾Æ¿¡°Ô ¿Í¼­ ¿¹¼ö²²¼­ ÇϽŠÀÏÀ» º» ¸¹Àº À¯´ëÀÎÀÌ ±×¸¦ ¹Ï¾úÀ¸³ª
       Therefore many of the Jews who had come to visit Mary, and had seen what Jesus did, put their faith in him.

    46. ±× Áß¿¡ ¾î¶² ÀÚ´Â ¹Ù¸®»õÀε鿡°Ô °¡¼­ ¿¹¼ö²²¼­ ÇϽŠÀÏÀ» ¾Ë¸®´Ï¶ó
       But some of them went to the Pharisees and told them what Jesus had done.

    47. ¡ÛÀÌ¿¡ ´ëÁ¦»çÀåµé°ú ¹Ù¸®»õÀεéÀÌ °øȸ¸¦ ¸ðÀ¸°í À̸£µÇ ÀÌ »ç¶÷ÀÌ ¸¹Àº Ç¥ÀûÀ» ÇàÇÏ´Ï ¿ì¸®°¡ ¾î¶»°Ô
        ÇÏ°Ú´À³Ä
       Then the chief priests and the Pharisees called a meeting of the Sanhedrin. "What are we accomplishing?" they
        asked. "Here is this man performing many miraculous signs.

    48. ¸¸ÀÏ ±×¸¦ ÀÌ´ë·Î µÎ¸é ¸ðµç »ç¶÷ÀÌ ±×¸¦ ¹ÏÀ» °ÍÀÌ¿ä ±×¸®°í ·Î¸¶ÀεéÀÌ ¿Í¼­ ¿ì¸® ¶¥°ú ¹ÎÁ·À» »©¾Ñ¾Æ
        °¡¸®¶ó ÇÏ´Ï
       If we let him go on like this, everyone will believe in him, and then the Romans will come and take away both
        our place and our nation."

    49. ±× ÁßÀÇ ÇÑ »ç¶÷ ±× ÇØÀÇ ´ëÁ¦»çÀåÀÎ °¡¾ß¹Ù°¡ ±×µé¿¡°Ô ¸»Ç쵂 ³ÊÈñ°¡ ¾Æ¹« °Íµµ ¾ËÁö ¸øÇϴµµ´Ù
       Then one of them, named Caiaphas, who was high priest that year, spoke up, "You know nothing at all!

    50. ÇÑ »ç¶÷ÀÌ ¹é¼ºÀ» À§ÇÏ¿© Á׾ ¿Â ¹ÎÁ·ÀÌ ¸ÁÇÏÁö ¾Ê°Ô µÇ´Â °ÍÀÌ ³ÊÈñ¿¡°Ô À¯ÀÍÇÑ ÁÙÀ» »ý°¢ÇÏÁö
        ¾Æ´ÏÇϴµµ´Ù ÇÏ¿´À¸´Ï
       You do not realize that it is better for you that one man die for the people then that the whole nation perish."

    51. ÀÌ ¸»Àº ½º½º·Î ÇÔÀÌ ¾Æ´Ï¿ä ±× ÇØÀÇ ´ëÁ¦»çÀåÀ̹ǷΠ¿¹¼ö²²¼­ ±× ¹ÎÁ·À» À§ÇϽðí
       He did not say this on his own, but as high priest that year prophesied that Jesus would die for the Jewish
        nation.

    52. ¶Ç ±× ¹ÎÁ·¸¸ À§ÇÒ »Ó ¾Æ´Ï¶ó Èð¾îÁø Çϳª´ÔÀÇ Àڳฦ ¸ð¾Æ Çϳª°¡ µÇ°Ô Çϱâ À§ÇÏ¿© Á×À¸½Ç °ÍÀ» ¹Ì¸®
        ¸»ÇÔÀÌ·¯¶ó
       and not only for that nation but also for the scattered children of God, to bring them together and make them
        one.

    53. ÀÌ ³¯ºÎÅÍ´Â ±×µéÀÌ ¿¹¼ö¸¦ Á×ÀÌ·Á°í ¸ðÀÇÇϴ϶ó
       So from that day on they plotted to take his life.

    54. ¡Û±×·¯¹Ç·Î ¿¹¼ö²²¼­ ´Ù½Ã À¯´ëÀÎ °¡¿îµ¥ µå·¯³ª°Ô ´Ù´ÏÁö ¾Æ´ÏÇÏ½Ã°í °Å±â¸¦ ¶°³ª ºó µé °¡±î¿î °÷ÀÎ
        ¿¡ºê¶óÀÓÀ̶ó´Â µ¿³×¿¡ °¡¼­ Á¦ÀÚµé°ú ÇÔ²² °Å±â ¸Ó¹«¸£½Ã´Ï¶ó
       Therefore Jesus no longer moved about publicly among the Jews. Instead he withdrew to a region near the
        closet, to a village called Ephraim, where he stayed with his disciples.

       When it was almost time for the Jewish Passover, many went up from the country to Jerusalem for their
        ceremonial cleansing before the Passover.

    56. ±×µéÀÌ ¿¹¼ö¸¦ ãÀ¸¸ç ¼ºÀü¿¡ ¼­¼­ ¼­·Î ¸»Ç쵂 ³ÊÈñ »ý°¢¿¡´Â ¾î¶°ÇÏ³Ä ±×°¡ ¸íÀý¿¡ ¿ÀÁö ¾Æ´ÏÇÏ°Ú´À³Ä ÇÏ´Ï
       They kept looking for Jesus, and as they stood in the temple area they asked one another, "What do you think?
        Isn't the coming to the Feast at all?"
